A mind-boggling 36% currently use TikTok, including 61% of people 34 and under. That said, do you have to add a video element to your podcast? Nope. For now, the experts say you’re off the hook.”
Apple finally explains how the Apple Podcasts Charts really work. Finally, they admit it: “Although ratings, reviews, and shares also help indicate a podcast’s newness, popularity, and quality, they are not factored into the algorithm that determines the rankings for Top Shows and Top Episodes. In other words, they may not help people find a podcast on their own, but they influence whether people will listen or follow, and those factors influence the charts.” BOOM.
Apple Podcasts introduces follower metrics, MP3 support for subscription audio, and more Okay, okay, so, wait. if I’m listening to A Scottish Podcast in my bedroom, and my brother is listening to A Scottish Podcast in my living room, and my house has only one IP address, how many followers does Apple count from my IP address?
