Hello! Not to freak you out with a privacy scandal on your first day back from celebrating America’s birthday, but it seems that airport security and bar bouncers aren’t the only ones who saw that embarrassing photo on your driver’s license. As it turns out, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials have been mining state Department of Motor Vehicle databases for facial recognition data for years, raising all kinds of privacy concerns.
