The
West Central Regional Pitch Competition (in St. Cloud) is open to all West Central MN residents and businesses with plans for a new company or with a business that’s been incorporated for less than 12 months. There are two divisions of competition with multiple levels of cash prizes. The Adult (18+) Division will have a top prize of up to $5,000, and up to a $2,500 top prize in the Youth Division. One top finisher in both the youth and adult divisions may be selected to receive automatic semifinalist status in the U of MN’s prestigious
MN Cup Startup Competition. Apply by 4/3. Also see more info the FYI regarding MN Cup (and other MN programs with ILT and BETA MN below too).
BTW this is NOT any kind of endorsement, I’m just sharing info in case helpful and you want to do more research. I’ve been asked recently about accessing/renting/leasing office furniture & equipment for startups, as they may be unsure of the unpredictable needs. I also recently connected with
Camber Road, who works with startups across all verticals, financing stuff like manufacturing, lab, and warehouse equipment, as well as custom devices, robotics, furniture, IT, and software. Essentially anything on a capex or FF&E line. If of interest to your biz to lease this instead of using cash to buy, the contact I made was with Kevin Allen allen@camberroad.com.
As always with the format below: events, webinars, shout-outs and FYIs.
