What Happened On Fanbyte This Week
Ooooh wee. What a week. Elise Favis started yesterday as our brand new Features Editor! The Fanbyte crew is really growing and it’s… so fucking exciting. If you have ideas for pieces, hit us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Fūnk-é has also been crushing in their first couple of weeks. They wrote a microreview of a Kirby gif that is an all timer:
Did you see that basically every studio at Activision is working on Call of Duty now? It’s such a fucking bummer. The developers of Crash 4, Toys For Bob, is being shifted to the Call of Duty Warzone team. Read Kenneth’s report here:
Hey, video games are starting to come out, huh? They always were, but like, we got New Pokémon Snap and Returnal today. That’s so cool! I’m excited to crack into both of these in the next couple of weeks. We’re gonna have a very fun New Pokemon Snap stream next week, so make sure you’re in the Fanbyte Discord and subscribed to the Twitch channel so you can be notified when we go live.
Fūnk-é helped me make that bot I was talking about last week, so that’s cool. You can follow it if you want, it’s @fridays_bot. It’s been super hot in LA this week. It was 90° (in celcius that is “a lot”) before noon today. My dog got 15 feet out of the apartment before she quit and laid down on the sidewalk. Stay hydrated, folks.
