It’s probably one of the craziest moments in karting ever, the day that karting driver Luca Corberi took his bumper and threw it in front of the upcoming karting traffic to try and hit an opponent. The brawl that ensued after between family members and the drivers only made it worse. Jake Sanson was commentating that day and gives us his account.

In the first ever Grand Prix, held in 1906 in France, the field was made up of 35 drivers: all male, all white and all rich. More than 100 years later, not much has changed: the sport has been slow to boost diversity and inclusion heading into the 21st century. Maffi Racing, a new Formula 4 team from Switzerland, hope to give the European single-seater scene a push on that front. F1 Feeder Series spoke to the team’s managing director Alexandre Thouvenin about their plans for the upcoming years.

With just one weekend of FRAC remaining, we are seeing some drivers turn their fortunes around. Arthur Leclerc maintains his consistency and extends his championship lead over Spanish rookie Pepe Martí. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Falcons continue to look quick and motor towards their inaugural teams’ championship. With Round 4 being the final time that we’ll see FRAC race at the Dubai Autodrome this season, here are five points of interest from the weekend’s action.

The Alpine Academy has undergone a drastic overhaul in 2022. Victor Martins and Caio Collet are the only two drivers staying, which means Alpine have said goodbye to Formula 2 champion Oscar Piastri and Christian Lundgaard who’s IndyCar-bound. Martins and Collet are joined by F2 rookies Jack Doohan and Olli Caldwell. What can we expect from these talented young guns?

In the penultimate round of F4 UAE, two usual faces took victories but a surprise pole position spiced up the weekend. There was no streaming of the weekend’s action due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ so let’s go through the four takeaways from the weekend based on what we know.
