The Great Commentary of Cornelius A’ Lapide is an astounding biblical commentary I only just learned about this week from the above linked homily on the gift of tongues. I haven’t gotten the whole set yet, but I picked up a cheap kindle edition of his commentary on St. Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians. I cannot overstate how helpful it’s been to read.
