Too many teams spend too much time on the wrong stuff. Stuff the marketing director wants because Amazon did it. Stuff that sounds right, like re-platforming an existing product. Stuff like fixing a feature because a couple of people complained.
We spend way too much time and money on things that don’t really matter.
So how best can we work on the right stuff? By prioritising.
Often called the Action Priority Matrix (APM), you can simply work out what solutions will make the most impact.
And there are alternatives. Tim Herbig (who was on the Etch podcast recently
