One day late, but feeling great, and it’s the first day back at Etch Sprints.
No doubt, you’ve been reading and thinking about New Years resolutions, but I urge you to try something different and destroy your defaults.
John Zeratsky shared some thoughts on LinkedIn yesterday, about not clearly defining resolutions, but adapting your behaviour:
“Look for everyday actions—because they’re easier to maintain than ones you do sometimes.
Look for things you can put on the calendar—because they’ll keep you honest about what it takes to make the time.
Most of all: Look for new behaviors that are inherently rewarding or even fun—because finding ways to enjoy the process is the best way to reach your goals, even if you stop thinking about your goals altogether.”
Really looking forward to adapting my behaviours to meet my goals this year.
Happy New Year everybody 🎉,
Also, I’d love to know more about what you’re all doing this year - reply to this email and share! 👋
