Be fraud smart
Just because someone knows your personal information doesn’t mean they’re genuine.
Scammers are targeting people by pretending to be from your Bank, advising you that your account has been compromised. You are then told you need to transfer your money to a new account that has been set up whilst they investigate.
Don’t assume that a phone call, email or text is authentic. Ask yourself if it could be a scam.
It’s ok to say no and contact the organisation through a route you know to be genuine.
