Essex Community Goals!
Calling all U14 and U16 seven-a-side football teams in #Essex!
Join us from 8.30am on Saturday 9 July at EJA Great Baddow Ground, West Hanningfield Road (CM2 8FR) for our ‘Essex Community Goals’ charity football tournament.
The 7-a-side tournament is open to players aged 13 to 14 and 15 to 16 years. Teams of up to 10 players can enter, and teams can be single or mixed gender. 
Food, drinks and goodies will be available on the day and trophies will be awarded to the winning teams.
Entry costs £25 per team. The event is due to finish at around 4pm and friends and family are welcome to watch from the side lines

Obituaries
The Chief Constable regrets to inform you of the sad death of our former colleague Keith Southgate who retired as a Ch/Supt in 1994 and served at Tilbury, Grays, Harlow, Headquarters, CID, Rayleigh and Basildon. He passed away on the 26 May 2022 aged 78 years.
This week we remember
Served with Colchester Borough Constabulary from 1934. In December 1939 David joined the Royal Artillery as a Lieutenant. He was killed on Friday, 16th June 1944 whilst serving as Major 148698 with 301 Battery, 127 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery. David Miller Kirk was buried in grave I.C.14 at the Ranville War Cemetery in Calvados, France.
