Be Fraud Smart
The end of the tax year is the 5th April, don’t let scammers take advantage.
In the past we have seen fake emails or text messages appearing to be from HMRC claiming you are due a tax refund, owe tax or urging you to provide personal and financial details.
Criminals may also offer their services to help you with your application whilst charging you a fee to complete the process.
It’s okay to say no to unsolicited offers of help or requests for your details.
You can find more advice on fraud on our website
Secure, Protect, Prevent
This isn’t a wheelie bin, it’s a step to your back garden.
Burglars have been known to use rubbish bins and other items let against fences to gain access to your house. Store away your bins in a secure location, away from fences and any garden access gates.
For more advice on keeping your property secure, visit the crime prevention advice pages on our website.
