Cumulus, Russia, and a Critique - EvM Issue #11

In short: I started writing for Bound (I’m writing the sourcebook material for Cumulus), and I’m rereading and annotating Reality is Broken in between edits to Actionable Gamification and the creation of several essays. The novel critique I received at 4th Street Fantasy by a well-known author and a 20-year editor has me sitting on my novel for the moment.

In progress is an essay putting China Miéville’s October: The Story of the Russian Revolution in conversation w/ M.T. Anderson’s Symphony for the City of the Dead. (Iron Council, also by Miéville, will probably get a mention, too.)
If you know anything about the Russian Revolution, I’m looking for someone to tear apart my essay–so please email me back.

Don’t forget to get my Letters to Authors Who Changed Me (an infrequent personal letter to various authors).

Have a great Friday evening!
