AMAZON Will Be Banning This Supplement (NAC)...?
By Lucas Aoun • Issue #73 • View online
Hey fam,
Unfortunately, a very well known anti-oxidant and healing supplement known as NAC may be banned from Amazon.
But if you keep reading below, you will see a better, newer alternative to NAC
[The] FDA has concluded that NAC products are excluded from the dietary supplement definition under section 201(ff)(3)(B)(i) of the Act [21 U.S.C. § 321(ff)(3)(B)(i)]. Under this provision, if an article (such as NAC) has been approved as a new drug under section 505 of the Act [21 U.S.C. § 355], then products containing that article are outside the definition of a dietary supplement, unless before such approval that article was marketed as a dietary supplement or as a food. NAC was approved as a new drug under section 505 of the Act [21 U.S.C. § 355] on September 14, 1963.
Since then several retailers have dropped NAC and NAC containing products. Currently Amazon is slowly taking down NAC listings.
As per the notification from Amazon:
This product has been identified as containing the drug-only active ingredient N-ACETYL-L-CYSTEINE (NAC). Amazon policy prohibits the sale or listing of dietary supplements that contain drug-only active ingredients.

💊So what’s the solution?
Use NACET powder instead. It has better absorption, better bioavailability, and you need LESS than regular NAC.
It wouldn’t surprise me if we see this banned soon too, so you may want to stock up!
