The EndOnEnd.org newsletter

Welcome to Issue #1 of the EndOnEnd.org newsletter. In general, this monthly(ish) newsletter will include a selection of posts from my blog, as well as newsletter-only features like My Media Diet and various ramblings.
Feel free to respond to this newsletter. I’d love feedback and to continue the conversation! If you like, feel free to tell others.
Enjoy!

My Media Diet
A selection of media (TV, movies, books, music) I’ve been digging lately.
  • The Punisher (TV, Netflix)
Jon Bernthal is perfect as The Punisher.  Loved every episode.
  • The Gifted (TV, Fox)
Between this and Legion, Fox is killing it with X-Men TV shows. The Gifted captures much of the X-Men ethos: young outcasts coming to grips with their new powers better than any of the movies.
  • Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD (TV, ABC)
This season has me hooked again. Things went off the rails a few seasons ago, but this season is one of the best.
  • Mr. Robot: Season Three (TV, USA)
Another redemption season after a weaker season two. Strong from start to finish.
  • Sons of Anarchy (TV, streaming)
Finally watched the last season of Sons of Anarchy. Probably its most violent, definitely not its best set of episodes, but I am glad I
  • Hurry Slowly (podcast)
A podcast about how you can be more productive, creative, and resilient through the simple act of slowing down.
  • Doomsday Clock (comic book)
A sequel to Watchmen, one of the greatest graphic novels ever!
  • Batman: White Knight (comic book)
Sean Gordon Murphy art and writing. Need I say more?
  • Mister Miracle (comic book)
The super duo of Tom King and Mitch Gerads knock this book out of the park. Yes, a Marvel guy just recommended three DC books.
  • Wonder (movie)
Took Zoey and Stella to see Wonder and wept like a little baby. Someday, when they are parents, they’ll stop making fun of me for it.
  • Black Panther (movie)
So good. Saw it twice! My favorite Marvel movie, no doubt.
  • Atlanta (TV, FX)
Donald Glover’s (aka Childish Gambino) creation is equal parts funny, well done social commentary, trippy, weird, and full of very likeable characters. Amazing. Highly recommended.
