You can now count the number of days to the elections on your hands. eNCA will begin to focus and narrow in on the issues that many South Africans are concerned about. Depending on what the various political parties are promising around the issue closest to a citizen’s views will greatly depend on where that X lands on 8 May. 

The ANC, DA and EFF have made jobs a central topic of their election campaign, but do those who were polled by MarkData agree with how those three big parties are handling the issue? The respondents, who were unemployed, students and full-time employed were asked about their support of those big three parties on the topic of jobs…

Does the FF plus have a case? If so, the BLF is in trouble.
The Freedom Front Plus (FF+) has approached the Electoral Court to have Black First Land First (BLF) deregistered as a political party. The party withdrew its first legal attempt against the BLF and instead appealed to the Independent Electoral Commission [IEC] to reverse a decision of its chief electoral officer to register the party.
