Hello all and welcome to our tenth issue of Saturday Scribblings. For the past week, I decided to spend time to myself and recover from a cold that I caught. This meant that last week there was no issue of Saturday Scribblings - many thanks for your patience but I am feeling much better now.
One thing that I started in the beginning of November was walking every day for two hours, and I will continue this until the end of December. The reason: to lose weight, become healthy and to remove the ‘lockdown’ belly that had developed since I started working from home almost two years ago.
So far, I am starting to lose weight and I am now able to put my socks on without any issue. I am so pleased to continue my daily power walks as I am now averaging around 6 to 7 miles per day. I might continue in the New Year, I think, and may start to jog.
In this issue, we will look at some videos, blog posts, books as well as the recent news, which are all related to English language teaching in one way or another.
