Staying on the Body Thrive train, one of the habits Cate talks about is “Start the day right.”
“Once you’re up and at ’em, sip or guzzle about a quart of water, between room temperature and tea-water hot. The purpose of this water is to flush your inner toilet.”
Ok. So. This has been one of the main habits that I’ve been working on for almost 2 years. I had let go of the habit, and am back on the train.
Here’s how I go about it: I super boil a quart of water the night before. I put it in my beloved water bottle.
In the morning, the temperature has dropped enough that it’s still ‘hot,’ but perfectly so. I then sip, sip, sip and as water starts to drop even more in temperature, I guzzle.
The magic tool? My thermos! I own this one in 32 oz
