navigating the preparing-t0-show-your-house waters! Mind you, my captain has kept our home in ship-shape condition, but still, it bears the cracks, creaks, and stains of any 24-year-vessel. It requires examination from stem to stern, patching, painting, and stuffing unsightly things into air-tight compartments. What it is is a pain in the aft.
If you know me well, you’ll know the captain has practically had to anchor me to keep me from using my left hand. But I’m doing really well post-surgically and am looking forward to getting my hard cast next Monday when I hope to be promoted to a working member of the crew.
It’s looking more and more like we’ll start out in an apartment before cruising Greenville to find a port that best floats our boat. We’ve had eleven showings, and a lady is flying up here from FL on Saturday to see it! Our agent says we already have multiple great offers. Thanking God for this market and how He continues to bless us in so many ways.
