Updates from our studio.

This issue includes details about a promotion we’re running on Twitter at the moment, a brand new canvas from Hahnemühle, and an explanation about how we’re using Instagram (and other social networks) to promote our services and your prints.

Tweet for a Proof
Tweet for a Proof is a promotion we’re running over the next week and a half, we’re printing and posting A4 proofs for people in exchange for a tweet. This promotion is available to both new and existing customers and allows you to send one image and receive a printed proof on one or two of our papers. The offer ends Thursday the 17th and is only available to UK delivery addresses.
Hahnemühle Leonardo Canvas 390gsm
For years we’ve been producing our canvas prints on Hahnemühle’s 400gsm Daguerre fine art canvas, it’s bright white surface and matt finish is ideal for all kinds of artwork. Recently we’ve seen a new generation of canvas products arrive on the market, canvas that doesn’t need to be varnished after printing.
After testing products from Breathing Color and Canson, we came back to Hahnemühle and fell in love with their gloss finished Leonardo canvas. Ideal for both traditional fine art reproductions as well as digital and photographic work, we’re pleased to add this to our line of papers.
We have samples printed for anyone that would like to see this beautiful canvas, just reply with your address and we’ll post a sample to you.
Hearts, Comments, Likes, Retweets and Reposts
If you’ve ordered a print from us within the last couple of weeks, you might have noticed a new compliment slip included with your order, it mentions that we’ll retweet, repost and share any updates you publish on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook that mention us and include a photo of the prints we’ve produced for you. Each time we retweet, repost and share any update from you, we’ll make sure it is captioned and mentions your own account details.
We’ve always wanted to promote the artwork we print for our customers, but understand the products we’re creating are your copyright and it’s something we can’t do without your permission. This is a way allowing you to ‘opt in’ to us sharing your prints and the work we do for you, as well as controlling what the posts look like.
