I gave real life examples and exercises to a class of 15 people doing a postgraduate in digital marketing last friday. Was fun. Something I’ve noticed like what I see at clients as well: the value of analytics is visible to some extent (simple stats), yet only very few to almost no people are really
interested in building a comprehensive analytical skillset.
The amount of empathy you need to have to understand the client, the customer and the business is high and on top of that, translating it into something meaningful… it takes time, i guess.
Talent can hit a spot someone else can’t. A genius can see things other can’t. We still got a long road ahead if it comes to education & teaching these people real business sense. Kristof, teacher, on the left in this picture, really strives to do so. Big up Artevelde! Savvy students for sure!
