"Hack Your Anxiety" By Changing How You Think About It
In celebration of my new book, Hack Your Anxiety, hitting the shelves TODAY, here are some ideas about the power of changing our attitude about anxiety so we can tune into its important messages and helpful energy. We have more control over our anxiety than most of us think, and how we experience anxiety depends in large part on how we label and think about it.
If we allow ourselves to fear anxiety, we tend to escalate it. Whereas seeing its positive effects allows us to keep it useful. It may not feel easy to see the positive effects of anxiety right away, but the research is clear about the advantages of finding them.
How could you think about anxiety a bit differently today? In what ways could it be helping you?
Not sure? Take a moment to click on some of the articles below for some ideas, or check out my new book. When we choose to see anxiety’s positive effects, we allow it to be a constructive force in our lives, nudging us toward our best selves.
Happy reading,
Alicia
