Happy New Year!
Welcome to another edition of the End Times Berean Watchman Report.
In this issue, we will be looking at the indicators that scarcity, inflation and famine are not only looming, but have started to arrive.

Scarcity, Inflation, and Famine
It seems like every week there is more reason to believe that the black horse, too, is now riding. If you haven’t noticed that prices are on the rise, then you must not be the one doing the shopping in your family! And all the indications are that 2022 is going to be worse. Prices are set to rise 20-25% beginning in January, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t another similar increase by the end of 2022.

Inflation rose a sobering 6.8% in the US, but that is hardly cause for panic at the present; however, it demonstrates that it’s not exactly under control either. Some are predicting that it will get under control by the end of 2022, but to me that sounds like the predictions that the lockdowns would only last for a few weeks or months to “flatten the curve” for COVID.
Bank interest rates are also set to rise through 2024, which in this present climate means for the foreseeable future. This will have a cascading effect that will almost certainly be felt by everyone.

And national death rates are up 40% this year, over pre-COVID levels, which is unprecedented. The deaths must be related to the pandemic, but many think it is the vaccines that are doing the real damage, not the virus itself. By every measure, the COVID vaccines have more negative reactions than any another other vaccine ever released by several orders of magnitude.
In context, that is only perhaps another 4 or 5 deaths per 1000, but this is well beyond the possibility of a simple statistical anomaly. Something is very wrong, and it’s starting to show in the data. Financially, this could be crippling to the insurance industry, and as big as they are, if they get in trouble, then there will be trouble in other sectors as well.

And in the US, expect to continue to see shortages in the grocery store. Honestly, missing a few of our favorite things is hardly something to panic over, but it is just another sign that things are not working right. The system is failing, and if it doesn’t get better soon, you can bet it will be getting worse.
Food Shortages We Could See In 2022
These all look like decent indications that a black horse is riding quickly down the road in our direction. Fortunately, the world has not yet erupted fully into chaos, but the risk that it could at any time is still very real. This isn’t the greatest news, but if it means that after nearly 2000 years the Lord is truly about to return, it sounds like Good News to me. :)
Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near. – Luke 21:31
My new book, No More Delay, will put a lot of this into prophetic perspective. It should be ready in a few months.
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. – Numbers 6:24-26
