Last week the Disruptors ran a series of workshops with enterprise clients, helping them to focus attention on innovation priorities and develop detailed plans for execution of new projects. It’s something we do so frequently now, that we often take for granted the sense of wonder and pride we see in the people we work with, just for helping them to see how they can change their businesses for the better.
But this sense of purpose and passion about what we do in business can reinforce our commitment to our companies, driving staff retention, productivity and purpose. Without regular strategic and tactical planning, firms can even unwittingly lose the momentum for positive change and become mired in process.
There’s no doubt many, if not most firms are suffering from change fatigue. And that’s dangerous, because it can inhibit adoption of innovation in a manner that can put the firm at risk. What’s needed, then, is a way to make people feel positive about change, and to support them in that process. Let us know if we can help
. It’s what we do, and do well.
