Mapping the Transformation Journey

The Disruptors are back at it for 2018 and we are already working on new methods for industry and company transformation. As we go, we are developing new digital transformation mapping systems to help companies get a better sense of the impact of change on different user groups.
To develop a truly effective agile innovation process (and, concomitantly, to develop an innovation culture), you actually do need to know the traditional reporting and management structure of an organisation. It’s all very well to advocate for flatter company structures and decision making, but without understanding the reporting model used within a firm, it’s impossible to mitigate risk and engage internal organisational expertise in a way that will support innovation.
Simply by mapping an organisation’s reporting processes (essentially an annotated org-chart) with the details of frequency and channels for communication, as well as mapping risk and investment cycles and processes, the opportunities for engaging personnel in a digital transformation journey become much clearer and defensible in a company budget.
If you are considering a digital transformation journey and need some help in identifying where in the calendar you should be engaging your teams, give us a call
