Disability Crosses Borders
Culture, Community and Care with Jiya Pandya and Kim fernandes
By Áine Kelly-Costello • Issue #3 • View online
Greetings from a snowy northern Norway,
I’m delighted to share with you this conversation with two queer and disabled South Asian US immigrants.
If you like unpacking the language we use to make sense of our place in the world on multiple axes of disability, queerness, culture and more, as well as finding ways to show up in caring community for each other, I think you’ll love this chat with scholars Jiya Pandya and Kim Fernandes.
Both have a lot of wisdom to share so let’s dive in.
