Everyone’s been raving about Cult of the Lamb this week, and it’s always a proud moment when the Australian games industry pulls off a worldwide hit. We’ve got two reviews in this newsletter alone for you to enjoy, but they’re very much in agreement that this is an excellent, must-play little game.
But that’s not all! We also have a competition to celebrate the release of the game, with an amazing custom PS5 controller up for grabs. Don’t miss out on that opportunity, peeps! Scroll on down for details on how to enter.
(Speaking of competitions, congratulations to Les, Lisa, Claire, Domagoj and Aidan, who won our previous Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy competition. Prizes are in the mail!)
Finally for news this week, we have the covers for this month’s Dee Dee Zine to share, with the magazine being published next week. Thank you to everyone that supports us on Patreon so that we can continue to publish those. I loved gaming magazines as a kid, love that I am now able to publish my own take on those, and I really love that we can give talented writers the chance to publish articles and get paid for it. None of that would be possible were it not for the ongoing support of DDNet, so thank you!
Have a great weekend, everyone. Play some awesome games!

The Covers For This Month's Dee Dee Zine!
We’re in a revolutionary mood this month for the Dee Dee Zine, which will have a major feature on transgression in Japanese art, as well as some interesting features about Australian games, and the usual anime, literature, travel and more. It’s going to be another 56 pages of absolutely loaded *content*, so look forward to it!
And the usual reminder: Patreon backers do get the magazine in return for their support. So, not only are you helping us continue to deliver all the great videos, reviews and features each week, but you also get the magazine as a “bonus” - it’s the cheapest magazine subscription of all. Jump on Patreon now to back us, and thank you for your support!
Then for the back cover, we’ve got Lorin rock climbing. Why? Well, why not? Rock climbing is a great sport!
