Letting Go and Silence

The Digital Calm
The Digital Calm
Hey there,
I hope this letter finds you in good stead. I’m sad and excited at the same time (if that’s at all possible). I’m sad because I have to inform you that one-half of the dynamic duo is leaving the podcast. 😢
Naomi has decided to step away from co-hosting the Digital Calm due to other commitments and time constraints. Podcasting is a tough racket. There’s a lot that goes into creating and promoting each episode. We’re talking upwards of 5+ hours a week, which is a lot to ask from anyone, especially as we all live such busy lives. I’ll miss our weekly banter. But the show must go on, as they say.
Now for the exciting stuff!
I really love the idea of the Digital Calm and the potential of what it can be, so I have decided to soldier on as a solo podcaster and keep the Digital Calm podcast alive.
I’ve changed the format and given the podcast, a definitive purpose which is
to combat busyness and help people to create a pocket of calm in their otherwise busy day so they can regain focus and mental clarity.
I’ll do this by creating an audio experience of lof-fi beats, relaxation techniques, and personal narratives and stories.
Each audio experience will take you on a journey that lasts approximately 20 minutes ( and if you say you don’t have 20 minutes to spare to dedicate time to yourself, then I would gently say, you need to reevaluate your lifestyle!)
Other changes
Because I want to create a community for other seekers and warriors of calm, I’m consolidating the Digital Calm podcast’s online presence with a dedicated Facebook Page, Facebook Group, Twitter, and Instagram. Please do connect with the podcast in those places as well. They’ll each be used in slightly different ways to take advantage of each platform’s strengths.
To make sure the music artists get paid for their creative work, I’ve moved the Digital Calm platform to the Anchor / Spotify combo.
You can follow the podcast on Spotify so you’ll get each audio experience as I publish them and listen to them on a platform you’re probably already using.
I’d also encourage you to connect with the podcast on Anchor so you can leave voice messages and participate in Q&As and the like.
There will be a proper website for the podcast as well. I’ll let you know when it’s ready.
OK! I think that’s enough news for now, don’t you? Let’s get on with the show, as they say.
Letting Go and Silence
To enhance your journey, it’s best if you listen to this audio experience with your earbuds or headphones on.
