Bijna drie jaar geleden publiceerde de Europese SER (het EESC) een advies over AI, dat was geschreven door Catelijne Muller met een beetje hulp van mij. Daarin wordt gewaarschuwd dat verhalen over super-intelligentie het noodzakelijke debat over de impact van huidige toepassingen van AI niet moeten overschaduwen. Er is een verband met robots. Terwijl het ene na het andere rapport voor een onrealistische robot apocalypse met groot verlies aan banen waarschuwde, zagen veel werkenden de aard van – en relaties op – hun werk al veranderen door AI, cobots en robots.
