Design Sprint Newsletter
Hey there!
A few weeks ago I had too many cool links for one newsletter and promised to send the rest right away. Well, here we are in late July and I have even way more too many links for one newsletter. So once again, here are a few rad ones now and a promise for more later:

Detailed case study from AJ&Smart showing how they used remote design sprints to design Kevin Rose’s meditation app Oak.

Nice, short post about how Pinterest engineering experimented with blocking off Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for focused work. Spoiler alert: they get more done this way.

I always tell teams they should not involve customers in the design process—but this team brought customers in and it worked great. So what do I know?

I hate icebreakers and I loved this post.

Workshops
I’m teaching part of a workshop in Charlotte in September (I’m there for day 1, teaching Map, Sketch, and Decide, and day 2 will be taught by Jeff Grant, who I haven’t met yet but he’s designed toys and games for IDEO and satellite parts for NASA, so he’s probably pretty rad!). You can take $250 off with the code WilyJakeSprint.
I’m also running a 1-day workshop in Austin on September 13 and a 1-day workshop in London on October 15.
Thanks so much for reading!
