How Distributed Work Will Benefit More Workers Across the Country
Recently I was invited to be on a panel of experts that will be coaching startups during their innovation accelerator week in San Francisco. These founders are notably visiting from Brazil and the program is sponsored by Visa.
Nothing really unusual about that. What’s unusual here is that 1.) I am in residence in Illinois for the time being and 2.) I can still participate without having to make the trip to San Francisco.
I mention this as an example of something larger that is taking place with respect to changing the calculus on setting up new businesses, and the job creation that goes with them. And that is being achieved — to the point of a solid trend — via Distributed Teams.
