Go Watch "Big Little Lies"
Little Big Lies is the best thing I’ve seen in awhile. It’s the female version of Glengarry Glenn Ross. Incredible lines, incredible acting - captures a subculture that resonates with me deeply.

This article nails one piece of it for me. It’s a scathing satire of the Silicon Valley/NYC/LA/etc. parent-teacher subculture. To be clear, this is a commentary on parents like me.
On the Silicon Valley point, the scene where Laura Dern’s character negotiates the vesting period of a founder in an M&A situation is so on point. Perfect.
