It’s tough to be a filmmaker in New York City. Getting access to people, money, knowledge, and resources is always a challenge, especially if you’re doing it on your own.
You don’t have to, though. You could be in a place that surrounds you with access to tons of resources (equipment, screening/event facilities, editing software/hardware, post production, live streaming, vr/ar studio, casting, pr/marketing, festivals, insurance, etc.), fellow film/tv/vr creators, and even opportunities for distribution (digital and theatrical).
Sounds like nirvana doesn’t it. It can be…but only if YOU get involved! join us for this networking event and NYFL interest session!
We’re working on launching an NYC based co-working space, community, and incubator for content creators!
Anyone interested in learning more (or more importantly, want to get involved!!) about NY Film Loft or interested in industry networking (FILM/TV/VR) is welcomed to join
