Stakeholder update on Cooperative Impact Global

Daniel Peter D'Alonzo
Daniel Peter D'Alonzo
A series of in-person gatherings begin in New York City this June. We are building partnerships with leaders in several cities around the world who are also gathering locally with their own communities - some cities are already active and we are supporting others in getting started. Wherever you may fall in that spectrum, please know that you can reach out for support. The intention is for each node to govern itself while tapping into the economic value of cooperation.
We have a dialogue open with three hotels for potential locations of the November global conference in New York or Costa Rica. These are early conversations to scope pricing and logistics to see what’s possible. If you have thoughts or ideas on this, please reach out.
I started writing my invitations today as you can see in the image below. This is one of the parts that brings me great joy. As I traverse the diverse pockets of NYC, I bring a few invitations with me each day. Throughout the day, I hand-deliver these envelopes to receptive people I feel most drawn to.
How will you invite people to the gatherings in your community?
The next step, is to send out a call for facilitators. I will have a series of phone calls with each facilitator over the course of several months to imagine, sketch out, design, and integrate their unique gifts into the programming of the global experience in November. It’s as if I work behind the facilitator, alongside of them, as they sew themselves into the cultural fabric of this new social tapestry we craft together. We don’t fit facilitators into a program. We build the program around the facilitators. Stay tuned for this.
If you’d like to chat one-on-one, please send an email to cooperativeimpactglobal@gmail.com w subject line “Request a meeting”. In the body of the email, please list your intention for the meeting and suggest window(s) of time that you are available.
Sending you love from my heart to yours.
Daniel

At this time, my intention is to use this newsletter to share my evolution, and showcase projects on the horizon.
-
I am a peacemaker originally from the USA and currently living in Europe.
-
I am motivated by opportunity, connecting with others, conflict resolution, and cross cultural collaboration.
-
I like to be with people. I like to do things with different types of people. And I love to make things that help people. More recently, I’m also finding joy being with myself, doing things myself, and making things for myself.
-
I am fascinated by compassion, temperance, and imagination. I am curious what my life (and the world) would be like with more of these things.
-
Professionally, I have been an Experience Designer for 13 years. I design products, run programs, and provide consulting to governments, universities, and startups.
-
Basically, I help people make things … that help people make things … that help people. I work with clients 1:1 both in-person and virtually. If I were to express my most passionate work it would be my devotion to:
-
Running incubators that develop future peacemakers who launch peacemaking ventures from anywhere in the world. These experiences are for creating ventures that make peace with one’s self, with different cultures, and with our Mother Earth.
