I've never shouted so loud

I've never shouted so loud

All the doors were locked. How did they get in?

The first clue was mud all over the floor. Then I saw the doors of my wardrobe were open. The wardrobe where I keep my camera equipment. The camera equipment which was now gone, gone, gone.
Gone, gone, gone.
Gone, gone, gone.
I stomped around my house for the next five minutes searching for my obviously stolen camera equipment. Honestly, I’ve never shouted so loud. Theft creates confusion. It takes time for the brain to process why nothing is where it should be.

As I calmed down I realised the back of my villa in Bali had a small window I had never paid any attention to. That window was wide open and the lock broken. The thieves had targeted only the camera equipment, which has significant resale value. A professional job.
Non-urgent donations
The camera equipment is an essential tool of my teaching work. I use it to create courses and for online seminars. Many participants in my courses who follow my Instagram have asked if you can help replace the equipment, so I’m sharing a PayPal link for that purpose.
Please note that this is a non-urgent cause, don’t give me $$$ in favor of your sick auntie! But new equipment to get me teaching again is a significant expense, so all donations are appreciated. Link below:

My newsletter and its 1502 active subscribers has now been moved from Substack to Revue. This may be a matter of frying pan meeting fire, Revue is a Twitter owned service, so it remains to be seen if it is free of the ethical issues that made me flee Substack.
I completed a major new project in April, in partnership with an exciting new sponsor. Fortunately, the camera equipment was stolen just a few days after the shooting for the project was wrapped! The project will be announced in May.
I also passed the milestone of 1000 followers on Clubhouse this month. Thanks to all those of you who have joined in conversations with me there. I find Clubhouse to be one of the most positive social networks I’ve ever played with. You can follow me there:
