The Transamerica Pyramid is the second-tallest skyscraper in the skyline of San Francisco, California, at 853 feet (260 m). Its design consists of a tall, four-sided pyramid with two “wings” that accommodate an elevator shaft on the east and a stairwell and smoke tower on the west. Four cameras, pointed in the four cardinal directions, are positioned at the top of the building’s spire to form the “Transamerica Virtual Observation Deck.”
