Swirling patterns of grass and farmland cover the landscape outside of Bellevue, Iowa, USA. Bellevue is located in the southernmost corner of the Driftless Area, a portion of North America that escaped all three phases of the Wisconsonian Glaciation. Because of this, its rugged hills and valleys contrast with the rest of Iowa’s low-lying terrain.
