A Chilly Thanksgiving, Quiet Pattern Continues
A Chilly Thanksgiving, Quiet Pattern Continues
If you’ll be traveling Wednesday, it’s hard to beat the quiet & mild weather. Temps topped out above 50° Tuesday, 12° above the normal. The last time we were that warm was November 10th, nearly two weeks ago.
A chunk of cold air is sliding back in for Thanksgiving, dropping temps below freezing for highs again, BUT we’ll have mostly sunny skies. Then, then a large upper level ridge re-establishes itself heading into the weekend & next week. That keeps both the storm track up & around us (meaning mainly dry, quiet weather) and allows mild air to stick around overall. — Sven Sundgaard
