As we head into Thanksgiving, a holiday that erases the genocide of Native Americans and pushes a false narrative about a harmonious meals shared by pilgrims and the Wampanoag.
Since this holiday is centered around food, I thought I would share two venues that celebrate Native American cuisine in the Bay Area that you can hopefully check out in the near future:

A 22-year-old Australian climate activist has been sentenced to a year in jail for blockading coal trains. The protestor, Eric Serge Herbert, stopped a coal train in Newcastle, by climbing on top of it. Read more from The Guardian here. — Abbie Veitch
