Unite against climate change - Ukraine scientist - BBC News
Ukrainian climate scientist and member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Dr. Svitlana Krakovska, spoke to a BBC reporter on Wednesday.
“It’s amazing how the people of Ukraine united against one enemy,” she said. “If we all unite against climate change, we can survive as a civilization.”
She said that the war is narrowing the already small window of opportunity to act on climate and emphasized that Russia’s attacks are funded by fossil fuels.
