Apple VR/AR headset might get 3 screens

Cult of Mac Today
I’m not very bullish on AR/VR headsets, but as more details leak about Apple’s upcoming product, I’m starting to get more interested.
The latest rumor concerns three screens in the upcoming Apple headset, which is puzzling because we only have two eyes.
But the rationale is solid, and it makes the headset sound like a very well-thought-out product.
In other news:
  • Truly wireless charging – which doesn’t rely on a charging mat of any kind – is coming, and Samsung is there first. Can’t wait until something similar comes to iPhones, AirPods and the like.
  • There’s a lot of Apple-compatible kit coming out ahead of this year’s CES electronics expo. We have a few of the most interesting items so far.
  • There’s a nasty bug in HomeKit that sends iPhones and iPads into a restart loop. Luckily, there’s a fix.
