It’s our 10th newsletter and we’re curious to learn how we’re doing. Please reply with any feedback on how we can improve our upcoming issues. Enjoy!
This week we’ll dive into one of India’s best known dishes: Butter Chicken. The dish was developed “by chance” when the founders of Moti Mahal restaurant in Delhi mixed some leftovers in 1947.
In its purest form, it is yogurt-and-spice-marinated chicken dressed in a velvety red bath comprising butter, onions, ginger and tomatoes scented with garam masala, cumin and turmeric. Let’s get to it and cook up a delicious Butter Chicken of your own.
