Hi there,
sometimes, using the right UI component for the task can be a hard decision. Even for topics where it’s easy to find a “common” UX position to help decide, we should keep in mind that every situation and use case is unique and requires analysis.
The blog post in this week’s first link does a good job in evaluating and deciding for a specific design problem, I think.
