The Last Word
Schlesinger was at home alone one day when it was raining outside.  All of a sudden he heard a knock at the door. He opened the door and saw a snail on the ground.
The snail said:“ Oh please let me in—it’s cold, and I’m all wet”
“Get outta here,” said Schlesinger crossly, and promptly booted it off his doorstep.
Two years later, Schlesinger was again at home on a cold and rainy night, and he heard a knock at the door. He opened the door and saw the same snail on his doorstep, and the snail said:
