Glad to get out of the house, Schlesinger went into a bar.
He was sitting on the stool, enjoying his drink, when suddenly he heard someone say:
“Hey, you look great!”
He looked around—there’s was no one near him. Then he hears the same voice again, saying:
–”No really, you look terrific.“
He looked around again. Nobody. He looked at his drink—perhaps there was something in it—when the voice spoke again:
–"Is that a new shirt, or something? Because you are absolutely glowing!”
He finally realized that the voice was coming from a dish of nuts next to him.
“Hey,” he called to the bartender, “What’s with the nuts?”
