The current chip shortage is giving cloud providers a competitive edge. So far, they’ve resisted price fluctuations and have passed those cost-savings onto customers.
Gartner predicts cloud spending could reach $1 trillion as early as next year, with global adoption growing consistently.
So long data egress charges? Cloud’s most unfriendly practice is under heavy fire as competitors to cloud’s mega-providers aim to make these pesky fees more palatable.
The global multicloud management market cap is expected to reach $32.75 billion by 2028. Growing concerns over single cloud reliability are fueling multicloud’s momentum, creating a greater need for management tools, too.
As multicloud gains popularity among developers, CloudQuery is offering an open source tool to help manage code across multiple providers. It’s already secured $3.5 million in a seed funding round.
