Virtual conferences are great for accessibility issues and all conferences should contain a virtual element, but I do miss in-person conferences because they were the only time I get to see some of my favorite people in the profession (you know who you are).
David Paige and Jessica Gribble from ABC-CLIO / Libraries Unlimited are some of those people that I miss! It was always fun to stop in at their booth and chat about things, including future releases that might fit into the show. They have been a great partner for the podcast for many years, providing me with review copies of books so that I can be better prepared to talk with my guests on a wide range of topics.
They put me in touch with Julie Ann Winkelstein almost a year ago, and I’m happy that the book is now out and this episode is available for your listening ears.
