First of all, let’s get it out of the way… Yes, it’s really hot in the UK right now. If you’re suffering from the heat then you have my sympathies - I am also not designed for temperatures above those of the ambient section of the average supermarket and so I am currently melting like the Wicked Witch of the West at the end of The Wizard of Oz.
Still, I’ve tried to let the heat slow me down and my deep dive into my archives have continued, turning up some real gems for this week’s newsletter.
