Hey there, CM Fam!
As I’ve plunged back into the world of Facebook in full to promote chaosmagick.com
, I’m immediately reminded of why I left it. So many ill wishers, ego drones, and rotten apples.
Alas, it’s a venue that many people are on, so I’ll sift through the rubbish to find the diamonds. Enough bitching, though. On to updates!
A little more direction.
I’ve been working with a few people to define what chaosmagick.com
should be, I realized this is definitely is not a vanity project. Making notes and gathering thoughts, having conversations with peers, has lead me down the path I think best for this project.
The site will focus primarily on three things:
- The history of chaos magick.
- The community and culture surrounding chaos magick.
- Resources to explain the basics of chaos magick and places to go for further study.
The goal is to provide people with an easy to consume resource to get started in chaos magick.
From there, opportunities arise for them to self-educate or find like-minded peer groups to work with and explore their own definitions of chaos magick.
Essentially, we’re not trying to be the last name in everything chaos magick. We’re trying to be the first thing that helps those who are curious to branch out to find their own way.
We don’t want to be the ONLY way in (gatekeeping is shitty), but we would like to be a helpful one. A door that makes mystery accessible.
We’d love to hear your thoughts!
