Let's do coffee...but inside a newsletter.

Grab a cup of your favorite drink and sit down with me for an extremely one-sided conversation (unless you hit reply πŸ˜‚) in 5 points:

1. My visit to Ramen Heads πŸ§™πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ
My visit to Ramen Heads: Chuka Soba Tomita Ramen in Japan (とみ田) Tsukemen
Last issue I talked about β€œikigai” and this time I wanted to show you a video I made when I visited the chef from the Ramen Heads documentary - do not watch on an empty stomach, but do watch after you’ve seen Ramen Heads to see what I would get up at 5am to eat β€œnoodles.”
2. Netflix Pick of the Month 🀯
LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS | Official Trailer [HD] | Netflix
Love, Death and Robots is definitely the reason why Netflix exists and continues to win. No other studio would ever fund something like this yet it’s what we need and what will inspire. Your take on the subject matter may vary, but the animation techniques are incredible and the creativity unleashed here is something you would never see anywhere else.
3. What is your Productivity Stack? πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’»
NOTION!!!
Inspired by a friend on a recent trip to Singapore, I have started an Airtable with different founders listing out their productivity stacks - I will share with you if you add yours to it. Hit reply to join.
4. Must-Watch YouTube videos πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯
Since deleting all my social media apps off my phone, I’ve been spending more time with YouTube and here are 3 videos I want you to watch as well:
Esther Perel | SXSW 2019
A Conversation with Neil Gaiman & Kristen Vangsness | SXSW 2019
Living On $150K A Year In NYC – CRAZY!!!
5. Lastly, 3 Photos from my Camera Roll πŸ•ΊπŸ»
I was invited to be on an International Women's Day panel to talk about Women in Tech. It's a topic I feel needs more spotlight on.
Super awesome to meet up with old-friend and mom-to-be Grace Sai of the #2 largest co-workspace chain in Singapore: Found8. Singapore's startup scene is so interesting
Hong Kong friends, if you remember Azure in LKF Tower, you won't recognize it now as WeWork LFK! From partying to working, how much we have changed LKF!
Shorter and faster,
Some of you mentioned these newsletters are too long, some said they are the perfect length - so let me know if you liked the length of this one!
Heading to Australia next month for work, so any introductions to cool people would be appreciated.
