We briefly mentioned it on the podcast (Coast-2-Coast Combat Hour
) but with the release of their NFTs (Non-fungible token) and what we’re seeing from fans and media at events, the sport has grown into something and I’m not sure if I like it. The are more characters in the media that cover the sport than analysts and story tellers. The Tik Tok crowd are the ones buying these online collectibles and they seem to be doing well.
Th plus side as far as the NFTs go is that 50% of the revenue goes to the fighters. But it you know nothing of NFTs then it is hard to get folks to buy them. Those three letters are all over the place though, and have been almost all of 2021, so they won’t be going anywhere.
